Rood
Rood is a 7-year-old boy from Bellevue Mountain who broke his arm near the elbow. After the injury went untreated for weeks because a local hospital could not provide the care he needed, Emmaus Clinic arranged for him to see an orthopedic surgeon.
As churches in Haiti and the United States prayed for Rood, our team prepared for surgery. But when he returned to the clinic, his arm had completely healed. The surgeon confirmed that surgery was no longer needed. We thank God for this remarkable outcome and the hope it brought to Rood and his family.
